Question/Bug Report related to "Discounts and Loyalty"

I'm working with ODOO 18 and I am trying to create a discount code were the purchaser would get a dollar amount off of each of a particular item in the cart/Sales Order. All I can get it to do is give that dollar amount off of one item in the cart. Say a user has 5 baseballs in the cart each costing $25. I want to give them $5 off each baseball so each baseball would be $20. Everything I'm getting will only put the discount on one item. How do I make this work?

The bug I'm not sure how to properly report. It seems to have one item it links a discount to "for reporting purposes" I'm not sure what that does except quite frequently when I make a change to my discount it for some reason changes the name of my product to "$ 5 per point on specific products (Max $ 100)"
